Ingredients
- 1 liter milk
- 1/4 cup rice
- 1/2 cup (as sweet as you like) sugar
- 15-20 raisins
- 5 green cardamom
- 10-12 almonds cut into small pieces
- 5 -6 threads (as required) Saffron
Preparation
- To make rice kheer, first take rice, wash them twice with clean water and then keep them soaked in water for some time. By doing this your kheer will become delicious.
- Put rice and milk in a pan to boil.
- Cook the rice and milk on medium heat till the rice is cooked and the milk thickens.
- After this add cardamom (ground) powder, sugar and raisins to it.
- Put saffron on the gas flame before 2 minutes, it will get the flavor of saffron. Take off the flame and use almonds for garnishing.
- Serve cold or hot kheer.
